SEASONAL TIPS

 

 

·       Change air filter on furnace and have system serviced

·       Change battery on smoke detector if hasn’t been changed recently

·       Clean faucet aerators and showerheads

·       Clean out dryer vent duct

·       Clean refrigerator drain pan and vacuum condenser coil

·       Clean kitchen exhaust fan filters

·       Vacuum bathroom vent fan covers

·       Clean dishwasher food filters and check that openings in spray arms are clear

·       Examine caulk and grout in shower, repair as needed

·       Caulk windows on outside as needed

·       Drain and put away hoses

·       Turn off outside faucet valves INSIDE your home and drain pipe

·       Vacuum smoke detectors, heating registers, vents and ducts

·       Have gutters cleaned of leaves and debris

·       DON’T leave holiday shopping to the last minute!
